Don Geronimo got his first work in stereo at the age of 14, at WRWC in Rockton, Illinois. Or got fired. But his love of radio never stopped rising, as his career accelerated.

By the age of 16 Don was to and out the atmosphere while in the key market of Pittsburgh, at Fun Lovin’ 13Q. At seventeen, he was working in New York, performing the night shift at 99X. And he got fired. Again. And started the climb entirely back up radio stations hierarchy.
From 1977-1979 Don worked in Providence, RI, Indianapolis, and Detroit. From there it was onto KIIS- FM in La and WLS in Chicago. After going to WBBM-FM in Chicago for days, he moved all over back to Washington DC in 1985.

The move to WAVA combined with the beginning of Don’s son Bart in ’85 intended forget about moving for a while. Don joined with Mike O’Meara to the WAVA Morning Zoo thru 1991 and was read more moved to mornings after doing the evening transfer on WAVA. At that point, Mike Show" & the rebranded "Don moved to WJFK and back to afternoons in DC. The M & D show went for over 20 years, and at one position was syndicated to more than 50 stations. Don retired from that show in 2008, returning to radio this year at KHTK in Sacramento. He kept there of three years, until he was dismissed. Once again!

Don continues to create his wonder daily via packages and live streaming. Don won the Billboard Air Personality Of The Year in 1978 (medium markets), and again in 1981 (major markets) and 1984 (major markets). Don has appeared in a small number of tvshows and movies, most famously, his two "stellar" looks on King Of Queens. More are available on Don’s IMDB page.
